New York Metro Joint Cyber Security Conference 2017 (NYMJCSC.org)
Set to Transform Cybersecurity Culture in the United States Announcing the Fourth Annual Conference on October 4th and 5th in Midtown NYC
New York City, August 3rd, 2017 – The New York Metro Joint Cyber Security Conference (NYMJCSC) announces a Call for Speakers for its 4th annual conference to be held at Microsoft, 11 Times Square, NYC for the Pre-Con on October 4 and the main event on October 5, 2017 from 8:00a.m. until 6:00p.m.
This conference is expected to sell out for the fourth year in a row, and is presented by local chapters of ISACA, InfraGard, (ISC)2 NJ, OWASP, ACFE, Internet Society, HTCIA and ISSA. This dynamic conference is in response to the Department of Homeland Security’s initiative to raise awareness about cybersecurity during the month of October. This year’s NYMJCSC is chaired by Marguerite McCarthy and Jay Ferron.
“This annual event offers perspective into the cyber landscape from the private and governmental sectors bridging international, federal, state and local concerns from top community influencers.” Said, Tom Brennan member of OWASP Foundation Global Board of Directors. “Collectively, the conference aims to address the most pressing issues facing the nation today in relation to cybersecurity in the heart of our beloved city.” Stated Mr. Checco, President of the New York City InfraGard Board.
